Caregiver Parking Guidelines
General Parking Guidelines
- While permit holders are permitted to park in their assigned lots, no specific spaces are reserved.
- No individual may possess more than one (1) active permit
- All vehicles must be parked in marked parking spaces. (For example, not in fire lanes, grassy areas, or an unmarked section of the garages and lots).
- No vehicle shall be parked to extend beyond one marked parking space.
- All vehicles shall park head-in when using angled spaces.
- Except for flat tires, jump starts, and similar unavoidable problems, vehicle maintenance and repairs are not permitted in the parking areas or on other institutional property.
- Compact Car parking spaces are reserved for small vehicles only. Small car designation excludes oversized vehicles, SUVs, pick-up trucks of any size, station wagons, minivans, and crossover vehicles.
- Electric charging station spaces are reserved for EVs only. Vehicles must be actively charging to remain in an EV space. Violators will be ticketed.
- No vehicle can be covered in any lot or garage. Vehicles cannot remain in the garages/lots for more than 24 hours, except when required by shift length. UH lots are for work purposes only.
- In special circumstances, parked cars may have to be moved or reassigned to alternate lots.
- Permit holders are responsible for updating plates and vehicle information with the parking office. Failure to do so may result in a violation.
- Outstanding invoices for long-term passes will become violations if not paid within seven (7) calendar days. This process cannot be appealed.
- The Parking Offices of UH and LAZ Parking assume no responsibility for the loss, theft, or damage to parked or impounded vehicles.

Citations can also be paid in person using cash or check during office hours: Monday through Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm.
Please remit mailed check payments to: LAZ Parking 12100 Euclid Avenue, Cleveland, OH 44106. Checks mailed for this purpose must have the citation number noted on the check.
Envelopes of mailed checks must be postmarked before the escalation date listed on citation(s).
