Parking Permit Information

How to Request Caregiver Parking:

Full-time and part-time regular status Cleveland Medical Center New Hires and Transfers will have the opportunity to elect UH-provided parking during their onboarding process. Parking assignments will be communicated on the first day of work, and access to your assigned garage or lot will be granted within 24 hours. Your employee badge will be used for parking access at most locations. Continuous parking permits are subsidized by UH and issued only to permanent, institutional employees.

PRN caregivers and contractors (non-employees) may secure parking at their own expense after receiving their University Hospital ID badge. Self-paid parking can be purchased electronically by clicking here.

  • Employees who are not full or part-time institutional employees can purchase parking. Payment is due on the 1st of every month and can be made online by credit card or by mailed check.
  • UH permits purchased mid-month will be pro-rated for the remaining days that month.
  • Permit holders are responsible for all parking fees, including violations, associated with their permit.
    • Delinquent parking fees are subject to being converted into a parking citation.
    • Permit holders cannot renew or purchase a new permit if they hold an outstanding balance.
  • Permits can be cancelled 30 days after the purchase date.
  • Parking permits cannot be resold or transferred.
  • UH Temporary permits are non-refundable.
  • Temporary permits cannot be cancelled, transferred, replaced or refunded.
